About this job
A very well-established logistics company is currently looking to add operations support staff to their team. These individuals will be responsible for setting appiontments with clients for arrival of shipments, tracking and updating progress of shipments within a computer system, and coordinating delivery times with drivers. This is a long-term opportunity with great growth into many logistics fields such as account management/coordinating and sales!
Candidate must:
- Be very comfortable in computers - previous detailed computer experience highly preferred
- Have 2+ years of professional customer service experience or 1+ years logistics experience. If no experience, will consider a similar degree
- Be willing to work as early as 7:30am or as late as 5:30pm
- Be willing to work in a very fast paced environment with high customer expectations
- Be very detail oriented and organized due to data entry and integrity
