Candidates with a specific degree in a science related field along 6 months - 1 year of experience outside of academia.
Biosurgery Manufacturing Technician
Layman's terms of what they are going to be doing:
Taking human cadaver limbs/tissues/placentas and dissecting them to make squares of graphs to put on wounds (burn victims, etc.) great cause - helps children, others with skin disorders live normal lives.
Looking for people long term that want to do this and move into Tech 2 and Lead roles (tech 2 roles can pay up to $24/hr plus OT and lead pays up to $28/hr +OT)
* Follow batch production records (BPRs) and SOPs for GMP/GTP manufacture of human tissue products.
* Utilize good documentation practices.
* Assist in the preparation of reports and other documentation as applicable to the scope of operations in the manufacturing facility.
* Identify areas for improvement in manufacturing efficiencies and compliance.
* Assist with technology transfer from R&D to manufacturing environment.
* Prepare (autoclave) equipment for use in cleanroom environment. Maintain working inventories of supplies within the production area.
* Coordinate sample testing with QC.
* Become an expert in selected key areas of interest.
