Full Time/Part Time/Per Diem Requirements We are looking for Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Instructors who are Registered Nurses (RN) to teach LPN students in a classroom and/or clinical setting.
BSN or MSN required!
Responsibilities
Maintain a teaching assignment for the classroom and/or clinical setting.
Plan course instruction based on approved syllabus/course outline provided to ensure course content and learning objectives are met.
Utilize a variety of teaching techniques to accommodate the learning styles of a diverse student population.
Design, administer, and grade examinations.
Prepare students to meet the Board of Nursing education requirements and successfully pass the national licensure examination.
Actively work to retain a high level of enrollment in all classes taught by maintaining accurate daily attendance records, calling absent students, recording absentee information in roster, and communicating attendance concerns to the Program Chair Director of Education.
Other Registered Nurse (RN) Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Instructor duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Must possess a minimum of three (3) years Registered Nurse (RN) experience in the field within the past five (5) years.
Baccalaureate degree from an accredited school or a valid teaching credential.
Excellent intrapersonal, organizational and motivational skills.
Full command, both verbal and written, of the English language.
Successful completion of Maxim background screening process.
Successful completion of screening test(s) with a score of 80% or greater.
