As the Staff Accountant at the Coaster Capital of New England... You'll contribute to our mission by: Organizing and operating all functions of Accounts Receivable, including customer invoicing, bank deposits, and account reconciliations Processing and posting weekly seasonal payroll Assisting in the timely and accurate completion and distribution of the Daily Operating Report, Daily Vault Audits, and Vault Variance Reconciliations Completing weekly audits on the Daily Attendance and Revenue Reports Performing month-end reconciliations You'll do it with your: Degree or relevant work experience in Finance, Accounting, or Business Management Knowledge and understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principals Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word applications; experience with Great Plains is a plus Strong analytical skills, and ability to effectively identify issues and propose solutions Sense of fun Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to interact effectively with all levels of management You'll know you're ready if you are: Willing to work in a high performance team environment Willing to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Able to meet the physical demands of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations, including walking long distances, standing for long periods of time, etc. 18 years old or older with a valid driver's license and clean driving history Able to successfully complete pre-employment background and drug screening Park: Six Flags New EnglandPark: six flags new england
