ACCOUNTANT
This position works under the direct supervision of the Controller to assist in performing all accounting functions for multiple sets of books for separate owners or entities. An accountant assists with special projects while performing bookkeeping functions for a number of properties within the portfolio. This person will interact with the different levels of positions from administrative staff to the management team.
Functional responsibilities:
This position works under the direct supervision of the Controller to assist in performing all accounting functions for multiple sets of books for separate owners or entities. An accountant assists with special projects while performing bookkeeping functions for a number of properties within the portfolio. This person will interact with the different levels of positions from administrative staff to the management team.
Functional responsibilities:
- Bookkeeping functions (A/R, A/P, Bank Reconciliations)
Assists with the review of financial statements for multiple sets of books for separate owners or entities
Coordinates and assists with audit requests for various properties - Assists the accounting team with research and account reconciliations
Prepares various journal entries
Manages the submissions of financial statements to lenders and investors.
Assists the Management Team with special assignments or projects
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
Prefer 2-3 years' experience
Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills Excellent communication skills both verbal and written Ability to multi-task with proficiency
Team Player and Can-Do attitude
Professional demeanor
Proficient in Excel and Word
