Service Technician - Akron Area

$12.00 to $18.00 - Based on Experience + Great Benefits + Company Vehicle

A great family-owned company headquartered in Akron, Ohio is looking for installation technicians who will install and service their product in customer homes and businesses.

This company offers great benefits, company uniforms, tools, training and a take home company vehicle. This company offers a great lifestyle with a Monday thru Friday schedule from 8am to 5pm, with overtime available.

Candidates must have a good driving record (no more than 2 minor driving violations in the last 3 years) and be able to pass a pre-employment drug and background check.

Duties:

• Complete installations & service according to service and installations systems.
• Maintain a clean, neat, professional appearance and attitude including yourself as well as the company vehicle, tool use and maintenance, installation work standards and customer interactions.
• Review work orders and work schedule before leaving the shop to insure that all customer contact information, job site directions, installation material, treatment equipment, specialty materials, equipment location details or related information are known.
• Protect the customer floors, counter-tops, cabinets, possessions and/or home and business from damage during installations or service.
• Test all installed and serviced equipment after completion for proper operations and to insure that no leaks are present before leaving the job site.
• Explain equipment operation or nature of service and answer questions for customer if available before leaving job site. If customer has unanswered questions, report them to dispatcher, or service and client fulfillment manager for follow up
• Complete all load sheets, work invoices, valve tags, instructions sheets, and related paper work before leaving the jobsite and according to documented company procedures.
• Leave work area clean, neat and dispose of all debris.
• Report immediately or no later than 8:15 AM of the following work day to dispatcher any uncompleted work items. Record any uncompleted work items on load sheet or dispatch work order

Education and Experience:

• Previous plumbing experience and technical aptitude preferred.
