Production - Full-time / Part-time

Ceradyne makes armor for the military. They manufacture ceramic components by preparing tools, hot pressing, and cleaning various types of compositions while adhering to all safety and quality standards. It is working in a hot, dirty environment.

Will be working with a black carbide powder. There will be a 2 week training program where candidates will be evaluated and placed where 3M thinks they will be successful.

1st Shift-7:00am-3:30pm
2nd shift-3:00pm-11:30pm


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
-Prepare graphite tools for use
-Move equipment and materials using a 15 ton capacity overhead crane
-Performs general die building operations
-Load/unload molds in/from the hot presses using an overhead bridge crane
-Disassemble molds and part columns
-Operate industrial cleaning machines to clean ceramic parts
-Clean and maintain tooling
-Operate the Hot Press machine
-Maintain Hot Press Run Logs
-Use hand grinder to grind down edges
