Consumer Service Rep - Full-time / Part-time

Summary Interviews customers and records interview information into computer for customer service by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Sloan is currently undergoing a recall for one of their products. There is a published recall number that can be found at recal.flushmate.com that all customers are instructed to call to get the proper items returned. Candidates will be responsible for collecting information from the customer, data entry, and taking these inbound recall calls, candidates should expect to have 60-75 inbound calls per day. It is important that candidates are detail oriented and can follow instructions. This role is not scripted but there are certain lines that candidates will need to say verbatim due to legality/contractual obligations through the CPSC regarding the recall.

All calls coming into the call center should be answered within five minutes, and have a short wait time of under five minutes.

Communicates with customers to help them understand how to use the product properly, answer customer inquiries as they arise.

Resolves customer problems that appear to arise from the use of the product. Handles requests for replacing defective parts.

Examines pertinent information to determine accuracy of customer complaint and to determine responsibility for errors.

Keys information into computer to ensure computerized records are current.

Completes, maintains, and processes pertinent paperwork and records.
