The Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for developing, preparing, and distributing standard metrics and Key Performance Indicators to internal customers. The goal of this position is to be a sole source of data preparation for functions within the supply chain including, but not limited to, purchasing, procurement, logistics, warehousing and planning. The Supply Chain Analyst will also participate in functional discussions on process management and improvement. This position is critical for using system generated data to guide behaviors and process improvements within the supply chain. This role involves heavy data mining, analysis, and expertise to ensure special company projects are properly supported and allows for maximum work stream success.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field is preferred
- 3 - 5+ years of experience in a financial and/or business analysis role with a focus on accounting or corporate finance, business development, or financial planning and analysis
- Experience retrieving and manipulating raw data from various sources for analytical work and reporting
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills with a keen ability to tailor analysis to specific circumstances
- Proven ability to take initiative, demonstrate a sense of urgency and intellectual curiosity, and identify opportunities for business growth and improvement
- Strong organizational skills and an ability to prioritize effectively and remain detail oriented while managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Superior written and verbal communication skills, including strong presentation skills and the ability to interact successfully with all levels of an organization
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Accounting and GAAP knowledge preferred
