Position Summary:
Provides comprehensive administrative support at the executive level to senior executive management at Burlington including communications at all levels of all types. This position has access to and regularly works with information of the most sensitive, highly confidential, strategic, and critical nature. The scope and complexity of this position is such that the Executive Assistant is regularly dealing with diverse matters that require substantive knowledge of the Executive’s area of responsibility. This is a highly visible position with interaction with Senior Level Executives.


Major Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Works with time sensitive and confidential information. Exercises tact, diplomacy and discretion in written and verbal communications.
  • Manage travel arrangements, expense reports, and contribute to special projects
  • Exercises discretion and freedom to act in handling a wide variety of situations and conflicts involving the clerical and administrative function.
  • Reviews approval requests (expense reports, agreements, etc.) for accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Create and manage spreadsheets including pivot tables and macros, visualization and dashboards, charts and tables; importing and exporting critical data
  • Create executive PowerPoint presentations including charts, graphs and importing and exporting of critical data
  • Create and maintain calendars, schedule activities and meetings
  • Arranges programs, events, or conferences by arranging for facilities and caterer, issuing information or invitations, coordinating speakers, and controlling event budget.
  • Other administrative and project related duties as assigned by manager




Education:
  • High school diploma
  • BA/BS preferred

Experience:
  • 5-10 years administrative experience
  • Experience working with complex multiple calendar management and scheduling

Skills and Abilities:
  • Proactive mindset with strong deadline orientation
  • Excellent verbal skills yielding effective conveyance of information
  • Excellent written communication skills including rules of composition and grammar
  • Exceptional organization skills, ability to multitask and prioritize work activity based on need, attention to detail, initiative, and follow-through skills.
  • Experience with management of business travel planning
  • Ability to learn difficult concepts quickly while offering creative solutions
  • Excellent computer skills including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
