As a Production Manager for the Body Shop at Checkered Flag, you will be at the forefront of the automotive industry. You will have the opportunity to work with the latest equipment and technology in state-of-the-art facilities.  

Responsibilities

The Checkered Flag Body Shop is under new management and is looking for an experienced Production Manager. The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing the efforts of the shop and managing the efficient production operation of the body, detail and paint departments of the collision center. 

As the Body Shop Production Manager, each day will bring new opportunities, but you will always be involved in:

• Recruit, hire, train, motivate and develop all employees directly reporting to this position
• Develop and oversee the weekly and daily scheduling of work through the collision center

• Direct the movement of vehicles through the collision center and assign work to the technicians in the most productive manner
• Keeps up-to-date with new materials and techniques, and facilitates training for all appropriate personnel

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is high energy, driven, and has proven customer service skills. A successful candidate will be highly detail-oriented with solid organizational and time-management skills, possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with strong customer service and active-listening abilities.  

The Production Manager must also have a solid understanding of insurance claim policies and procedures, as well as experience in high quality collision repair.

The ideal candidate is someone with a winning attitude who sees obstacles as opportunities.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Four years of experience working in a collision center including two years in leadership role
• I-CAR, ASE, or manufacturer training and/or certifications
• Valid Driver’s License with no major moving violations
• Candidate with dealership experience preferred
• Passion to change a onetime customer into a “Customer for Life”
