Your responsibilities:
* Monitor the pool to ensure the safety of residents, families and anyone else using the pool
* Respondsto emergency situations in a quick manner, and executes emergency plan
* Performs safety checks of the pool area and equipment on a monthly basis and informs manager of problems as appropriate
* Responsible for securing the pool area when closed by returning equipment to storage areas, gathering soiled linens, moving lounge chairs and tables to appropriate places, turning off lights and locking all doors to the pool area
* Perform daily chemical testing of pool and spa to ensure chemical levels and temperature are appropriate
Required skills and qualifications:
* High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required
* Current certification in lifeguarding (American Red Cross, or YMCA)
* First Aid and C.P.R.
* Flexibility with schedule
* Must enjoy working with the senior population
