Tender Care Human Services, Inc. a non-profit organization is seeking an Associate Director of Programs that is motived, passionate, dedicated to the vision and mission of the agency. The applicant must be energetic, creative, a self-starter, responsible as well as responsive and able to work independently.

Tender Care Human Services, Inc. is currently seeking male or female Full Time Associate Director of Programs

Full Time Associate Director of Programs Responsibilities:

Provide support to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of program services (OPWDD, OCFS, OMH, DOH programs).

Establish an effective communications system to keep all program staff informed and on target regarding timely submission of assignments.

Regular meetings with supervisors/staff to address and offer guidance as it relates to day-to-day responsibilities, program functions, communication amongst services, quality assurance and organizational systems.

Enhance each program's operational systems, processes, and policies in support of the organization's mission, supporting better management reporting, information flow and organizational planning.

Ensure that all program departments are following and implementing all program related policies and updates accordingly.

Assist in the preparation of weekly/monthly/quarterly reports required for management, contactor, or state review.

Assist in the review of case documents based on regulatory guidelines.

Ensuring timely completion of annual Employee Appraisals.

Ensuring that supervisors maintain training records and certifications.

Identifying training and development needs within the agency through job analysis, audit results and regular consultation with supervisors and human resources representative.

Act as a liaison with all state and contacted agencies.

Dealing with and responding to employee/individual issues/concerns in a positive manner and ensure appropriate actions and follow up.

Play a significant role in long-term planning, including an initiative geared toward operational excellence.

Working with the management team to contribute to the development and implementation of organizational strategies, policies and practices.  This position may also include interaction with the board of director's, senior management, other providers and state agencies.

Full Time: Associate Director of Programs Qualifications

Bachelor is Degree in Human Services field. Masters preferred.

Must be able to work independently.

Demonstrates competency in written, verbal and computational skills to document records in accordance with program and state mandates.

 

In addition, the candidate must demonstrate the following:

The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership, crisis intervention and conflict resolution skills; Candidates must also have good communication and people skills, as well as the ability to develop community-based relationships with vendors for volunteer opportunities and also stay up to date with regulatory or legislative changes that may affect their programs.
