Job Responsibilities: 

 

  • Reports to the Executive Culinary Team of One Ski Hill Place - Hospitality
  • Maintain the daily food prep for all Living Room Restaurant and In room dining menu items
    • Works quickly, cleanly and is efficient in daily food production
    • Ensures all Food prep is properly stored and labeled
  •  Cook and prepare food orders for One Ski Hill Place hospitality outlets on a daily basis to the standard and quality expected by the Executive Chef
    • Inspects food preparation and serving areas to ensure safe and sanitary food handling practices
  • Maintain all par levels for the kitchen by submitting food orders to the Executive Sous Chef in a timely manner
  • Help to receive food and dry goods for the kitchen and properly account for deliveries by putting all orders away properly, using First In First Out Method
  • Maintains kitchen cleanliness and sanitation to RockResort brand standards.  Floors, walls, countertops, dish pit and all food production equipment are kept clean and properly maintained
  • Ensures required dish machine logs and cooler/freezer logs in the One Ski Hill Place kitchen are maintained on a daily basis
  • Responsible for cleanliness and organization of all coolers/freezers and food storage areas used by One Ski Hill Place hospitality culinary team. Ensure all food products are properly dated and labeled in these areas:
    • Hospitality walk-in cooler, Hospitality Walk-in  Freezer and dry storage area in kitchen
    • Roll-in cooler and Reach-in cooler in the Living Room Restaurant
  • Create a positive team atmosphere and lead by a positive example
    • Demonstrate teamwork and cooperation with entire FOH Staff and leadership
    • Demonstrate teamwork and cooperation with entire Mtn. Dining Culinary team and leadership
    • Check out daily with the Culinary Manager to ensure all Culinary and Brand Standards are being maintained
  • Assist Executive Chef in creating new, innovative and cost effective me

 

Qualifications:
 

•High school diploma or equivalent

•Minimum 3 years culinary experience

•Previous supervisory experience helpful

•Able to communicate effectively in English

•Current certification in the State Professional Food Handler Program

•Culinary degree/certification - Preferred

•Able to communicate in Spanish - Preferred
