The Ticket Scanning Lead will provide a high level of guest service while ensuring all guests are scanned and have the appropriate product to access our Ski Resort.  Applicant will have ability to troubleshoot scanning equipment problems as needed, deal with guest pass problems in a professional manner, and have a vast knowledge of the resort and surrounding community.  Must be a team player with good communication skills and be able to assist in the training of new employees.  Must be willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions and possess ski/snowboard riding abilities or have the ability to learn.  Must have flexible schedule and be available to work weekends and holidays. Additional job responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

 

  • Must be able to maintain a positive attitude about working outside in adverse weather conditions for up to 8 hours
  • Responsible for the resolution of guest issues and assisting Team Lead in service recovery
  • Scan and visually check each ticket/ pass for validity
  • Assists in the training of employees to provide a high level of proactive guest service; coaches and mentors employees and enforces company and departmental policies including grooming and appearance, proper guest engagement, ensuring every guest is scanned, and other job performance aspects as applicable
  • Responsible for ensuring a clean, safe, and presentable work environment
  • Promotes and ensures safety in the participation and completion of all job duties
  • Troubleshoots and ensures the proper functionality of scanning equipment
  • Assists in the daily operation, including the opening and closing of all base area operations 
  • Assists in building and maintaining a safe and presentable work area. 

 

 

 Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of Guest Service Experience
  • At least 1 years of Leadership Experience (preferred)
  • Effective communication skills with both guests and staff
  • Team player and leader
  • Ability and willingness to perform demanding physical labor
    • Must be able to stand in all weather conditions for extended periods of time
    • Able to lift at least 55lbs
    • Assist with snow work when needed
