POSITION PURPOSE
The Associate Records Supervisor manages a team of 15 ? 20 responsible for the storage and retention of associate records and for overseeing all functions related to printing and distribution of payroll checks and select reports for all Home Depot Companies, in the U.S., Canada, Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands, and Guam. The team is also responsible for receipt, cataloging, preparation, scanning, indexing, imaging and auditing for quality of associates files received. The team is also responsible for handling employment and wage verifications for new hires that have been with the company for less than 30 days.
Duties of the Supervisor include:
  • ?Supervising, coaching and providing counsel to associate, coordinating staffing of contractors with approved Vendor 
  • ? Establishing Key Performance Indicators and ensuring service levels are maintained 
  • ? Working directly with Managers to achieve all operation goals and objectives 
  • ? Utilizing imaging hardware and software, Tesseract application and other HR /desktop tools 
  • ? Leading team meetings and ensuring that all team members are adequately informed of policy and procedural changes
MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • 50% Supervises daily operations and staff including quality control audits, hiring/training of new and existing associates, coordination of staffing of contractors 
  • 10% Provides coaching to new team members and handling of escalated customer service requests 
  • 10% Ensures the performance goals of their team are met including quality control levels as well as adherence to all policies and procedures 
  • 10% Manages performance (evaluations, corrective action, feedback, coaching, development, etc) efficiently and effectively 
  • 10% Assist Manager by identifying work procedures, prepare work schedules and expedite workflow 
  • 10% Work with vendors to monitor packages and resolve distribution issues. Assures system performance issues are escalated to the vendor to assure timely response.
NATURE AND SCOPE
Reports to Manager of Associate Record Center (ARC)
Number of direct reports is 18.
ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
Environment:
Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Travel:
Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Additional Environmental Job Requirements: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Must be eighteen years of age or older.
  • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
Additional Minimum Qualifications:

Education Required:
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diplomas and/or GED.
Years of Relevant Work Experience: 2 years
Physical Requirements:
Most of the time is spent sitting or standing in the same location or there may be a need to stoop regularly or move/lift light material or equipment (typically less than 8 pounds).

  • Customer service or HR experience preferred 
  • History of punctuality and good attendance 
  • Basic computer and phone knowledge 
  • Patience, teamwork, motivation, upbeat and a great attitude 
  • Associate Degree or some college education preferred
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:
  • Working knowledge of Imaging Operations, Captiva Software, workflow and processes 
  • Proficiency in HRIS, Que Web, and Microsoft Office Suite 
  • Good written and verbal communication skills 
  • Exhibits leadership skills and desire to coach and develop staff 
  • Detail and process oriented, meet deadline in high volume production mode 
  • Excellent customer service and organizational skills; ability to multi task
