3rd Shift Production Workers Wanted
We are seeking a Distribution Associate to become an integral part of our team! You will help coordinate incoming and outgoing shipment activities. General Labor is a great opportunity to start a career in a warehouse.
General Labor Dutes:
- Manual material handling of objects such as domestics, kitchenware, furniture, totes and boxes or other items up to 50 pounds from the floor or pallet.
- Objects may be handled between heights as low as the floor and as high as the thigh, waist, and shoulder constantly, and as high as above the head (96 inches) occasionally.
- Objects are handled to, and from trucks, pallets, containers, conveyors, totes and boxes. Objects may need to be carried up to 30 feet
- Associate may be required to perform stooping, crouching, and to squat down to the floor or pallet or conveyor level on a regular basis
- Manual transportation of pallet jacks and trolleys requiring 30 pounds of force on an occasional to frequent basis
- Manual transportation of containers, pallets and conveyors requiring up to 100 pounds of force on an occasional basis
- Count, select and sort objects such as domestics, kitchenware, furniture, totes and boxes or other items by style, color, store order, or other criteria
- Match receipts against orders
- Pack or unpack items into or out of boxes
- Seal boxes for shipping when packing is completed
- Associate will be required to stand or walk on a constant basis
- General area housekeeping, including but not limited to such tasks as sweeping, baling cardboard, use of trash compactor and other related housekeeping
