2nd Shift Steel Warehouse Worker

Express Employment Professionals partners with a steel distribution facility located in Beech Grove that offers a variety of entry level and skilled manufacturing and warehouse positions and has several immediate openings! Whether you come from a production, retail, or warehouse background, this company would like to speak with you. They are a leader in their industry and have experienced significant growth because they want the best candidate, and that person doesn’t always have an extensive warehouse or manufacturing background.

The company currently has several openings on 2nd which works 3pm-11:30pm, Monday-Friday with frequent overtime at the end or beginning of the shift. These positions require using a side load forklift to pull bars of steel for outgoing orders and shipments. This position is physical and requires someone to lift 50-75 pounds on a consistent basis. This is a very fast paced position that requires an individual to consistently think ahead and do the job as efficiently as possible with attention to detail.

Candidates that are familiar with heavy equipment such as forklift or pallet jacks generally work best however they are open to training individuals on this type of equipment. Candidates must pass a math/ruler/fraction test in order to qualify for any opportunities. The ability to advance and move onto different positions and departments is encouraged and happens frequently. Additionally, this company has a strong culture with very little turnover.

Pay: Position(s) Starting at $14/hr
Earning Potential “while working 2nd or 3rd shifts” after YEAR 1 with Reviews: $17/hr
Earning Potential “while working 2nd or 3rd shifts” after YEAR 2 with Reviews: $18/hr
