Production Lead | 2nd Shift

Well-known company in Crystal Lake is looking for a Production Lead to work on 2nd shift. This is a great direct hire opportunity with an established company.

Production Lead Responsibilities:

• Promote safety, environmental responsibility, and continuous quality improvement in accordance with company policies.
• Coordinate scheduled work activities with other Lead and Production department personnel to maintain project work flow .
• Train employees, monitor employee work activities, assist with unusual problems, and take action as required to meet planned schedules and maintain work quality standards. 
• Troubleshoot and diagnose unusual equipment, material and tooling problems and take necessary corrective action.

Production Lead Qualifications:

• 2-3 years' minimum experience in a manufacturing and/or warehouse environment
• Previous experience as an operator of manufacturing machines or heavy equipment desired
• High school diploma or GED
• Some college or associates degree preferred
• Knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office (especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• Great computer skills
• Good communication skills
• Good leadership skills

Hours: Monday - Friday | 4:00 PM - midnight

Compensation: $18.59/hr
