Hosts are the first and last points of contact for guests of Peg Leg Pete’s. They set the tone for the guests’ experience and encourage their return

Job Requirements

Greet guests in a warm and friendly fashion

Take guests to tables and provide menus and silverware

Inform guests of specials

Say farewell to guests, thank them for coming, and ask them to come again

Utilize the tools and technology of the position, such as tablet computers, guest management applications, pager system, dry erase seating chart, and handwriting

Work on feet for long periods of time, outside, in all weather conditions

Lift up to 40 lbs.

Clean and maintain entrance areas and bathrooms

Keep track of table rotation and sections to ensure fair distribution of tables to servers

Accurately predict table wait times

Provide outstanding customer service

Other duties as business dictates

Job Qualifications

6 months of high volume restaurant, fast food, or retail experience is preferred

No prior experience required

Exceptional communication skills

Ability to multi-task

Remain calm and friendly in stressful situations

Organizational skills

Work well with others
