CNC Operator

In need of a CNC Mill Operator. They are open to lower level candidates who are willing to learn, but would prefer a more experienced candidate.

The Haas CNC Vertical Mill Operator can be a wider range of experience.

Job Description:
Performs essential duties to ensure that parts are machined to the specifications detailed within engineering prints.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Review specifications to determine setup procedure, machining sequence and dimensions. Must demonstrate ability to interpret engineering drawings to complete assigned tasks.
* Selects fixtures, part holding, and tooling to machine parts as necessary
* Confirms conformance of finished work to specifications, using measuring and inspection tools as necessary
* Identifies workmanship and material defects and deficiencies and initiates program changes when required
* Provides estimates of programming time required for job quoting process
* Perform other related duties as assigned
* Prefer experience with Bridgeport or Hass Vertical Mill

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
* Demonstrated ability to program, set up a machine, and run the job with minimal supervision
* Basic math and computing knowledge
* Knowledge of general safety procedures
* Ability to meet production requirements as specified
