About this job
Currently seeking a Senior Estimator to work on small to midsize civil projects. These projects include concrete flat work for roadways, sidewalks, trails along with dirt work and excavation. This estimator will be responsible for 3-4 complete estimates/week with multiple in the pipeline. These projects will range anywhere from 350K - 5 million.
This opportunity I with a GC that's based out of Kansas City. A majority of the projects will be in the Kansas City Metro.
Qualified candidates will have the following:
- 7-10 years of experience in dirt work, concrete work, civil construction/street rehab projects
- Ability to read blue prints and understand project specifications
- familiarity with APWA, MoDOT, and KDOT standard specs
- providing timely and accurate material take offs
- Producing timely and accurate estimates through use of our estimating software
