About this job
Certified Medical Assistant for a full-time position in a dermatology office.
Company has about 55 employees on staff and 15 Medical Assistants. Shift can start as early as 7:30am and go through 6pm. Candidate needs to be open to starting at any point (schedule is made weekly). Contractor can expect to be on their feet a majority of the day. Fast paced environment.
Assisting physician in providing quality care to patients
Maintain patients' medical records
Review medical history
Obtain appropriate consents
Call in prescriptions
Perform patient call backs
6,000 patients per month.
Real time feedback provided. Performance is measured by the relationship contractor has with the doctors, team, and manager. Accurate notes also key.
Qualifications: High School DiplomaCertified Medical Assistant
3-5 years experience
Dermatology or Surgical experience preferred
