Merchandise Cabana Server- Summer Job - Part-time

If you have an outgoing personality and love working outside, this position was made for you!  The Cabana Server works in Soak City providing excellent guest service to our guest in the Cabana area and must be at least 19 years of age.

The Cabana server is required to check the ID of our guests who are ordering alcoholic beverages to comply with Ohio Liquor Laws in regards to age requirements, must be comfortable handling cash, and must possess strong customer service skills.  Additionally, this position requires the server to be outside in all weather conditions and on your feet for long periods of time.

Some of the essential job duties include:

• Interacts with and assists park guests on a daily basis; displays outgoing, friendly, versatile, flexible, professional levels of service to ensure guest satisfaction; gives verbal direction and assistance to guest to ensure quality service is given; performs the duties of a Merchandise Associate.
• Provides accurate information about all aspects of Soak City to park guests, including the selling points of the Cabana Rentals and implementing the distribution and sale of Cabana Rentals; keeps work and cabana areas clean and neat, empties trash, replenishes and stocks cabana items.
• Sells, orders, handles, and serves food, beverages and alcoholic beverages; checks valid ID (i.e. Driver’s License) for age requirements prior to sale of alcoholic beverages to guests; monitors and manages alcohol sales and consumption consistent with Ohio Liquor Laws.
• Receives payment of cash or credit card and makes correct change; uses cash apron and cash register to place orders for products selected by guests; operates cash register to correctly total prince and tax on products selected by guests; balances and reconciles cash register when applicable.

• Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, per Company policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial law.
• Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to credit, criminal, DMV, Previous employment, education and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state or provincial law.
• Ability to work nights, weekends and holiday periods to meet business needs.
