We are one of the Nation’s largest in-school dental programs providing much needed dental services to children who may not receive dental care without us!!!!
We have been providing school-based mobile dentistry since 1997 ... and WE ARE GROWING!!! Due to our overwhelming success, SMILE New York…the mobile dentists is currently seeking Full-Time, New York Licensed, Certified Dental Assistants for Manhattan and surrounding counties (including Bronx, Queens, Brooklyn, Westchester, & Staten Island). Our licensed, certified dental assistants provide quality dental care to students in the most comfortable, effective way possible.
No evenings or weekends! Enjoy your summers OFF!
Responsibilities:
- Dental Assisting Services during mobile dental clinics
- Digital X-ray Imaging
- Patient Records Charting
- Equipment Set-up, Breakdown, and Sterilization Assistance
- Travel Daily to and from school sites
Qualification:
- Must hold active New York license as a Certified Dental Assistant
- Must hold active CPR certification card and x-ray certification
- 1+ years CDA experience preferred
- Reliable transportation a must; willingness to travel preferred
Skills:
- Works well with others (both children and adults)
- Ability to work well in fast-paced environment; organized and detail-oriented; able to multi-task
- Must be able to carry 55 lbs.
Our teams enjoy:
- Evenings, Weekends and SUMMERS OFF!
- Working a school day schedule (about 6-7 hours); 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. on average
