A wonderful new opportunity is now available at an award-winning acute care hospital in Greater Portland for the experienced Cardiac Catheterization Nurse or Charge Nurse looking to make their way into Cath Lab Leadership.

This 200-bed hospital has been serving the surrounding region of more than 200,000 residents for 70 years and is consistently recognized as a top performer in Quality Management and Patient Safety. The Nursing Supervisor Cath Lab will additionally join an organization that received multiple recognitions for their outstanding Cardiovascular Program in 2016 alone and which serves as a leading healthcare authority for patients suffering from Stroke and other Acute Coronary Syndromes.

The Cath Lab Assistant Nurse Manager will play an integral role in directing the operations of this advanced department and ensuring efficient services and exceptional Patient Outcomes. They will serve as an important resource to the nursing staff of 10 to 15 FTEs while appropriately delegating tasks, assisting with hiring, training, and performance evaluation, and promoting employee engagement within the unit. The ANM will additionally contribute to Quality Improvement initiatives, in collaboration with the Nursing Director, wherever possible, and be constantly dedicated to enhancing the patient care being delivered.
