There is a fantastic career opportunity available for a Manager of Medical Records at an innovative, state-of-the-art hospital system in Southern New Jersey region. This system offers leading healthcare services to the surrounding community, while providing a great work-life balance for employees.

The Health Information Management Manager will work at a system-level and will have multiple spheres of influence, including responsibility over medical record delivery and retrieval, transcription, chart review, release of information, medical record maintenance and upgrades and oversight of all federal and state required registry systems.

The Health Information Manager will work with the Director of HIM to develop and implement strategic plans, provide guidance and expertise to departments and leadership and mentor and supervise staff within the department. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Electronic Medical Records, including preparing, scanning and analysis.

The HIM Operations Manager should have a wide range of skills, including budget development, supervision, project management, management proficiency, process improvement, tracking and managing expenses and demonstrated experience translating ideas to successful project completion.

This position is located in Southern New Jersey, about an hour South of Philadelphia. It is an affordable and midsize community, with lots to offer residents, including good schools, stable economy and lower cost of living than most areas of New Jersey. It is also a lively community, with many local festivals, farmer’s markets and strong downtown business scene.
