An immediate need for a Trauma Program Consultant is readily available with a fantastic Medical Center along the breathtaking Central California coastline!
This 170+-Bed Medical Center has a Level II Trauma Center that provides immediate availability of specialized care to the most severe and critical injuries. The most common trauma cases include motor vehicle accidents and high penetrating trauma. This is the largest trauma center in the region and treats 1,400 trauma patient each year and 7 specialty trauma services including trauma surgery, neurosurgery, interventional radiology, anesthesia, emergency medicine, orthopedics and oral/maxillofacial.
This Medical Center is immediately in need of a Trauma Program Consultant to assist in helping the Trauma Center become an ACS-verified trauma center. The Interim Trauma Program Director will collaborate daily with the executive nursing leadership, Director of Emergency Services and Trauma Program Manager to implement the changes needed in order to receive ACS recognition. The Trauma Program Consultant will agree to a minimum 3-month assignment with the option to continue until all changes are implemented for a successful ACS acceptance in October 2017.
The Interim Trauma Program Consultant will have extensive trauma leadership experience and success in ACS trauma review. This Level II trauma center recently opened and is rapidly growing. This is an opportunity to provide expert knowledge to the trauma center and assist them in becoming an ACS trauma center!
