Endoscopy Assistant Nurse Manager

An opportunity is now available for an Endoscopy Assistant Nurse Manager on Long Island about 30 minutes from New York City.

This 300-bed hospital is affiliated with a larger healthcare system and offers a full service acute care medical center. Service lines include Med Surg, Cardiac, telemetry, ortho, neuro, rehabilitation, primary care and emergency services to name a few. Recognized for their excellence in nursing care, the Assistant Nurse Manager will have the support of a tenured RN and patient care technicians in the endoscopy procedure suite.

The Clinical Nurse Leader of the Endo / Procedural Unit will provide direction and support of patient care activities, unit staff, initiate nursing care plans, and supervise patient admissions.

Collaborating with the Endoscopy Nurse Manager, they will be a liaison between leadership, clinicians and patients. The Procedural Unit Clinical Nurse Leader will assist with planning, implementing, developing, and evaluating nursing programs, goals, objectives, and initiatives for the appropriate unit.

The ideal candidate will be a seasoned registered nurse, who has exceptional critical thinking skills, organizational abilities, and outstanding communication skills.
