A 250 bed Seattle Metropolitan Area Medical Center is seeking nurses to join their State of the Art Cancer Center. The Medical Center is actively seeking experienced nurses for their Oncology Infusion program
The Cancer Center Staff Nurse will report to the Outpatient Cancer Center Nurse Manager, and will work with a multidisciplinary team providing the highest level of care to patients suffering from numerous types of cancer.
The Infusion Center staff nurse will work directly with patients being treated with Chemotherapy / biologic therapy agents, blood products, immunotherapy. CAR T- Cell and Stem Cell Infusion, IV fluids and other medications.
The Oncology Registered Nurse will work with patients prior to infusion, review previous results, monitor pain management and emotional well being. The Outpatient Infusion Nurse will collaborate with case managers, team nurses, physicians, nurse navigators, pharmacists, and social workers to ensure a multidisciplinary approach.
