Inpatient Physian MD Advisor Case Management - Full-time / Part-time

A top non-profit hospital system in beautiful Northern California is on the lookout for a Physician Advisor to support their inpatient Care Management teams at two of their short-term acute care hospitals.

The MD Advisor Case Management will report to the Chief Medical Officer and collaborate with the Director of Case Management to ensure the appropriate utilization of resources. The Physician Advisor Case Management will support the hospitals’ medical staff and work with other members of the Physician Leadership Team to optimize clinical outcomes and resource utilization. The Medical Advisor Utilization Review will also provide consultations to RN Case Managers regarding necessity of admission and reasonable achievement of clinical milestones. The MD Advisor serves on Utilization Review Committees for both facilities.
