A new opportunity is now available for a Charge Nurse at an Ambulatory Surgery Center in Southern Pennsylvania. This beautiful surgery center is growing and expanding and looking for the proven Nursing Leader to help lead this facility.
This Outpatient Surgery Center is a freestanding surgery center that specializes in Orthopedic Surgeries, Interventional Pain Management, and is expanding into Plastics, Urology, and General Surgery. The Nurse Leader of Ambulatory Surgery will provide leadership and direction over 7 operating rooms, across two different nearby locations. The average caseload at each center is anywhere from 25-40 cases a day.
The Ambulatory Surgery Nursing Facilitator will report to the Surgery Center Nurse Director. The Outpatient Surgery Nurse Coordinator will assist in management and performance improvement efforts of the unit. This Nurse Leader will serve as a resource and mentor for the unit.
The ideal Outpatient Surgery Center Nurse Leader will have at least two years of surgical experience, work well under stress, and be able to succeed in this high energy and fast-paced environment.
