ICU Nurse Educator Intensive Care Unit - Full-time

Located in scenic Chicago, IL, an award winning acute care medical center is searching for an aspiring nurse leader to take on the role as Clinical Nurse Educator of the Intensive Care Unit.

As the Clinical Nurse Educator, you will be responsible for the following:

• Overall training and education initiatives for the ICU in the busy Level 1 Trauma Center.
• The Nurse Educator will have an extensive background in the Intensive Care Unit and experience educating fellow staff members, along with patients and their families.
• Utilization of evidence based practices to facilitate the best possible patient care
• Supports the education and training needs of procedures, patient types, new equipment and respective documentation of clinical intervention. Solicits feedback through patient rounds, assessment of patient progress and communication with staff
