A leadership opportunity is currently available for a Clinical Informatics Manager with an acute care hospital in Central Illinois. This area features convenient access to the larger cities of Peoria, Champaign, Springfield and even Chicago, while providing an opportunity to reside in a smaller suburban Illinois community.

The Information Systems IT Manager will join a small community hospital that features a 24-Hour Emergency Wing, Outpatient Surgery Center, Physical Therapy and a Health & Wellness Center. This state-of-the-art facility features updated medical equipment, newly renovated units and a helipad for critical patient transfer.

The Hospital Manager of Information Technology will provide daily leadership within the IT Department and report directly to the Vice President of IT Services. Primary responsibilities will include staff allocation and prioritization of tasks, policy and procedural department maintenance and employee onboarding and annual review.

The Acute Care Informatics Manager will play a critical role in identifying potential threats to hospital networks and patient records. The IT Manager will monitor systems for potential security breaches and remain knowledgeable of potential threats. The Hospital IT Manager will assign and monitor security clearance to employees and assist in providing technical expertise as needed.
