Multiple opportunities for a Women’s Services Registered Nurse are currently available with a Central Kentucky acute care hospital. This prevalent Bluegrass community is just a few moments drive from large Kentucky cities, yet offers the charm and desirability of a small town setting.

The Labor and Delivery Nurse will join a state-of-the-art; 85+bed community hospital that is a top regional employer and emergency care award-winning facility. In addition to a 24-hour Emergency Room, the campus features private patient suites, Transitional Care, Rehabilitation Services and Surgical Services.

This Obstetrics RN will have the primary responsibility of monitoring new and expecting mothers and their babies, and assisting department physicians in preparing for and carrying out childbirth. The L&D Registered Nurse will also assist mothers in breastfeeding newborns and providing patient comfort throughout the childbirth process.

As a member of a skilled nursing team the Labor and Delivery RN will aide physicians in stabilizing newborns and effectively addressing labor related emergencies to the mother. Women’s and Children’s RN also will assist in preparing patients for discharge following delivery.
