An exciting opportunity has just become available for a Nursing Education of Palliative Medicine in the Greater Baltimore Maryland area.

The Nurse Educator of Palliative Medicine will work for a reputable Hospice and End of Life company that offers hospice services in the Baltimore area. Hospice services are offered in patient’s private homes, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, hospitals, or onsite at their 14 bed inpatient facility.

The Nursing Educator of Hospice Care will be an experienced Palliative Nurse who is looking for a change to her Palliative nursing career. The Nurse Educator of Palliative medicine does not necessarily need hospital education experience, but hospice experience is critical. This Palliative and Pain Nurse Educator will report to the Director of Education and primarily work with orienting new clinical staff to the facility and ensure all regulatory requirements are met. The Hospice Nurse Educator will work with Nurses, CNAS, Social Workers, and the Chaplain Staff with their onboarding process.

The Hospice Educator will primarily work a Monday through Friday standard day shift position, but occasional after hours and weekend work might come up as well. Due to the nature of the position, a valid drivers license is also a requirement.
