Aerospace Quality Auditor

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a temporary Quality Analyst (ISO 9001 Lead Auditor).

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Without appreciable direction, this position is responsible for coordinating and leading successful completion of ISO 9001 internal audits following internal procedures and tools. Ensures that quality performance and records conform to established Company and regulatory standards; recommends actions, dispositions and modifications. Interfaces with all levels of management and employees to ensure requirements are met.

• Analyzes quality records and data on various elements of the companys Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance, determine trends, and analyze root cause; develops summary reports, charts, and statistical analysis as required.
• Plans, coordinates, and leads internal audits and surveillance activities of the companys QMS; develops summary reports and reviews results with management; recommends improvements to the QMS and related processes.
• Analyzes documentation for compliance to ISO standards; develops documentation as required.
• Participates in development of less experienced internal auditors; may help develop curriculum for training.
• May provide direction to less experienced staff or matrixed team of auditors.
• Responsible for observing all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company.
• Expected to work in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices.
