Mechanic - Full-time / Part-time

Candidates will be responsible for:

- Performing preventative maintenance on any rental equipment that comes back into the shop
- Learn and perform maintenance tasks, from basic to advanced
- Be able to analyze the general condition of equipment, and troubleshooting, and performing preventative maintenance
- Be able to properly train customers in the proper and safe use of equipment
- Assist in rental as directed, using phone, in person, writing tickets
- Insure all safety procedures are followed
- Good mechanical aptitude, knowledge of electric and hydraulic experience
- Ability to work overtime
- Ability to check in parts from customers, sitting up front at the counter

Shift: Monday - Friday, 7AM-5PM with Saturdays 8AM-12PM during the summer, as this is their busy time.

Qualifications:
- 1+ years of construction equipment experience (small engine experience, ex: tile strippers, air compressors, air tools, asphalt/concrete/paving equipment, forklifts, electric tools)
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
- Valid drivers license
- 6+ months of small engine experience
- 1+ year of customer service experience
- Basic computer skills (email, processing tickets for customers)
