About this job
We are currently looking to hire a finish carpenter for a great company in the Waterloo/Cedar Falls area. This person will be working at various commercial construction projects, usually within 45 minutes of Waterloo.
The main job duties are installing laminate window sills, counter tops, cabinets, doors, and hardware. They may be asked to complete some framing from time to time but the majority of this work will be finish work.
Qualifications:
- Must have 3 years of carpentry experience working on commercial construction job sites or 5+ years of residential carpentry experience
- Must have reliable transportation to travel to various job sites
- A hard hat, safety glasses and steel toed boots are required
- Candidate must bring their own tool belt with basic hand tools
