Maintenance Electrician - Full-time / Part-time

A company in Albion, IN is looking to hire a 2 maintenance electricians or controls technicians.

MUST HAVE:

• 3+ years experience in industrial maintenance
• Electrical troubleshooting up to 480V, 3phase: Motors, VFD's, controllers, sensors
• Experience mechanically troubleshooting gears, bearings, sprockets

You will spend 80 percent of your time performing reactionary maintenance or preventative maintenance. The other 20 percent of the time you will be performing integration of equipment such as adding robots to conveyor systems, working alongside Control Engineers to reprogram or add devices on equipment.

They have equipment such as CNC's, Fanuc Robots, PLC's ( Allen Bradley 5, 500, 5000, Siemens S7), they also have smaller hydraulic presses, welding equipment.

You will need to be able to perform mechanical troubleshooting on gears, bearings, sprockets. Troubleshoot electrically up to 480V 3phase. Electrically you can expect to troubleshoot motors, motor relays, starters, and sensors on robots or PLC. You will trace down prints and work with lower level technicians to repair issues throughtout the facility.
