Manufacturing company located in Harrisonville, MO is looking for the right people to join our team.   Positions are available on both First (M-F, 8 hour shifts) and Second (M-TH, 10 hour shifts) shifts.  We offer competitive starting wage, pay raises in 90 days, vacation and PTO benefits.  Also, health, life, disability, accident and dental insurances are offered.  401k with match (fully vested from your first day) and paid holidays are offered as well.  Our facility is climate controlled and enjoyable to work in both the summer and winter months. 

 

OVERVIEW: Machine assisted hand work operation assembling industrial filters.  Candidate needs to be able to follow product specifications and work instructions. Work to achieve daily production schedule and to ensure the customer receives the highest quality product possible.   

EFFECTIVELY COMMUNICATE TO: Lead person, production manager, site director, assembly associates, production scheduler, admin, quality assurance, purchasing and engineering.

 

DELIVERABLES, DUTIES, ACCOUNTABILITY:

* Operate within standard operating procedures and adhere to all applicable safety practices.

* Assembles and adjusts a variety of mechanical components, using hand tools, assembly fixtures, and complies to all work SOP's.

* May use hand tools and power tools to assemble units according to product/customer specifications.

* Identify and report units that fail standards.

* Make adjustments as necessary to produce product within specifications. Reject product outside of specifications.

* Report and/or record any problems with parts and/or final assembly product or process to lead person and/or production manager or quality assurance personnel.

* Report any quality concerns to lead person and/or production manager, Quality assurance personnel.

* Achieve the daily production schedule

* Ensure work area is clean and organized.

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

* Air-Conditioned Manufacturing Environment.

 

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:

 

  • Previous assembly/sub-assembly work in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • 12 months continuous employment, same employer, in work history
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.

 

Required Skills:

Ability to use hand tools and power tools.

High degree of accuracy and attention to details.

Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with others.

Specific skills required based on actual open position.
