Crew Member

Tropical Smoothie Cafe will be interviewing for Crew Members in February 2017 for our new store in Farragut, Tennessee. Our opening date is tentatively set for early March 2017. As a Crew Member, you'll prep food, make our delicious wraps, sandwiches, salads, and of course our signature SMOOTHIES. In addition, our Crew Members ring up orders and keep our cafe clean for guests.

• Customer service is a priority! Crew Members must be friendly and professional towards customers and each other at all times.
• *Use our sanitation practices to handle and prepare food.
• Assemble and serve fresh food and smoothies.
• *Set up and restock food and smoothie work stations.
• Clean and organize kitchen, workstations, dining room, restrooms, and any other areas in the cafe.
• * Follows the steps to operate the register including taking customer orders, accurately handling cash and being responsible for the drawer.
• * Follows all safety and security policies set by the brand. Performs any additional tasks necessary to run the cafe.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• * Continuous standing and walking throughout the duration of each shift.
• * Bending, lifting and carrying up to 30 pounds to perform duties like stocking, refilling ice or taking out trash.
• * Constant face-to-face interactions with crew members and customers.
• Safely navigate in a fast-paced cafe environment.
• * Ability to multi-task and remain positive in sometimes stressful working conditions.
