Job Summary

The Director of Materials Management supports the vision of the Total Healing Environment and the values of respect, integrity, accountability, commitment and quality by the cost effective administration of all supply chain functions that support Yavapai Regional Medical Center's mission, vision and values and through the selection of equipment, products and services necessary to maintain optimal quality patient care.

Job Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications:

  •  Certified Materials Resource Professional (CMRP) certification

 Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or healthcare related field
  • Four years of experience in healthcare Materials Management; may consider any equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Two years of leadership or supervisory experience
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate with senior leadership to support and implement strategic initiatives to improve patient care and financial performance of the organization
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and negotiation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and supervisory skills with a demonstrated ability in performance management, coaching, and staff development
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing providing excellent customer service
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and handle multiple priorities/tasks simultaneously in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to work in a culturally diverse environment
  • Basic computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Windows
  • Basic proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
