Machine Operator

Due to company growth, our client is looking to add one mechanic/ machine operator. This person will be responsible for the overall mantenance, repair, and preventative maintenance of all equipment and machinery in the plant including their automated gerber cutting and Zuki sewing machines. These individuals will also be responsible for all basic facility repairs associated with the plant ( i.e. light changes, plumbing,changing ballast, etc.)

Training Schedule:

This person will train on 1st shift and will receive on the job training. This person will go through an in-depth safety orientation on the first day.

Shift: 1st shift 7AM - 5:30PM ( during the lighter season the plant will move to a 4/10 schedule of 7Am - 3:30PM ) Every Friday the plant shuts down early and employees are able to leave by 3PM.

Qualifications Needed to perform job duties:

- 3+ years of sewing or sewing machine repair experience - Preferred but not required
- 2+ years of Electrical( not required) and mechanical repair experience
- 2+ years of industrial manufacturing experience
- Maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment - plus
- Must be able to read and understand maintenance manuals
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Able to work independently and in a team environment
- Able to utilize basic math and computer skills
- Able to follow instruction
