About this job
Our client is seeking an entry level instrument operator to perform surveys in the Richmond, VA area as well as the Mid-Atlantic. This position involves travel.
Job Description:
- Individual will perform ALTA, construction stake out, and topographic surveys using Total Station and Topcon devices
- Individual will work on commercial and municipal sites around the Mid-Atlantic in crews of 1-2 and will be exposed to the elements (hot, cold, rain, snow)
Qualifications:
- Experience using handheld devices, GPS, and GIS
- Ability to pick up new technology
- Environmental background or field experience a plus
- Surveying experience a plus
