About this job
As the Mechanical Engineer you would be responsible for the mechanical design of exhaust support frame and exhaust diffuser.
Job Responsibilities:
- Work with Principle Engineer on design of exhaust support frame
- Assembly/interface design
- Support frame design
- Bearing and lubrication system design
- Mechanical design of external casing
- Work with Principle Engineer on mechanical design of Exhaust Diffuser Assembly
- Strut, diffuser and casing design
- Air & lube system design
- Perform the material selection of turbine components
- Develop test criteria and methods to validate design
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university
- Min 2 years of industrial experience in mechanical design of heavy duty gas turbine or jet engine turbine
- Experience with 3D software like solidworks, unigraphics, pro-e, etc
