PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provides work direction and work flow to warehouse associates.
• Must have knowledge of all material handling equipment (forklift and reach truck); this is important, there will be no training.
• Experience in loading and offloading containers.
• Responsible for the put away function of inventory to storage locations.
• Responsible for product fulfillment and delivery.
• Ability to lift heavy objects, multi-task and meet tight deadlines.
• Bond Cargo experience is preferred.
• Oversight for inventory and cycle counts.
• Must have familiarity with lot and batch numbers.
• Utilize computer system and prepare appropriate reports.
• Maintain cleanliness of building.
• Must be dependable and reliable.
• Must be able to work overtime when necessary.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have distribution experience of 2 years minimum.
• Requires completion of a high school diploma, general education degree (GED) or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Normally requires a minimum of two (2) years of equivalent work experience.
• Must have experience in high volume, fast pace environment.
• Higher/secondary education or specialized training or certification is preferred.

MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to read and understand the English language for the purpose of comparing and reading product descriptions, names and shelf labels.
• Must possess basic mathematical skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills; ability to develop and maintain cooperative working relationships with others.
• Strong organizational skills; detail oriented.
• Ability to use good judgment in order to carry out detailed instructions.
• Basic computer knowledge preferred.
• Applicants should be proficient on all battery powered equipment. IE, Standard Reach Truck and Forklift.
