This is a Leadership role for managing the IVR development team that is distributed across the globe.
 
You must have the ability to attract and recruit the industry’s best talent, and at the same time have the technical capability to ensure that what we build compelling, customer centric solutions in an agile methodology. Success in the role requires an innovative mind, a proven track record of delivering high availability and high quality software products and a passion for delivering value to the business.
 
Primary Responsibilities:

Manage (and hire) full time, part time, contract, and virtual team members, both internal and external
Support and enhance the productivity and utilization of all team members
Portfolio management – review overall project/program roadmap, verify technology choices, architecture, approach, estimates and delivery plan
Team member scheduling and allocation (works with PMs/other leaders)
Engage with customers to scope opportunities to utilize IT to add value and drive closer business relationships
Identify and scope opportunities to drive business improvement(s) through use of IT and process development. Collaborate with other leaders in the business to this end
Establish and maintain strong business relationships with both senior and operating level business leaders as well as peer groups in IT
Analyze operations data and recommend/institute changes where warranted to effect cost reduction through more efficient systems, operations, and schedule
Provide leadership by establishing department and individuals goals

Required Qualifications:

Technical experience building IVR self-service applications using Cisco CVP, Avaya AEP, and/or Genesys GVP platform is required
15+ years’ experience in application development
5+ years leading application development teams with a proven track record of delivering on commitments and moving teams to the next level of execution
Ability to influence cross-development teams through collaboration when direct authority is not absolute in a large enterprise environment
Ability to collaborate with business stakeholders and translate business need into technology solutions
Experience Delivering projects and major programs using the agile project management methodology
Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree
Leveraging metrics to create a cycle of continuous improvement
Working knowledge of Agile & DevOps concepts, including continuous integration and deployment
Experience managing application development team with responsibility for IVR development using CVP and AEP Platforms
Experience managing teams of 50+ resources (onsite-offshore) preferably with a fortune 500 company
Managing risk with a focus on application security coding and testing best practices
