As a Business & Process Analyst, you'll have the opportunity to provide data analysis to support, compile and report key information for operations and business objectives. By gathering and documenting business requirements and utilizing your sharp analytical skills to fulfill the needs of the business and/or clients, you will have an impact on healing the health care system. You will use your sharp business skills to assist in end - to - end business process activities. You will create process design, diagnose process improvement opportunities, and develop solutions. You will also provide quality reporting, analysis, audits, and develop plans and programs to support continuous quality improvement using a variety of applicable tools. You won't be any ordinary Business Analyst; your high performance approach will power innovation, impacting the lives of millions.
 
Positions in this function conduct and manage outcomes of various studies that include analyzing, reviewing, forecasting, trending, and presenting information for operational and business planning. They support short and long term operational/strategic business activities - by developing, enhancing and maintaining operational information and models. They also develop and implement effective / strategic business solutions through research and analysis of data and business processes.

Primary Responsibilities:

Gather and document business requirements
Analyze and interpret data to identify trends, patterns and opportunities for the business and clients
Communicate analysis and interpretation to appropriate audience
Produce, publish and distribute scheduled and ad - hoc client and operational reports relating to the development and performance of products, processes and technologies
Provide business subject matter expertise on the use, functions and processes of critical systems and applications
Provide operational process insight to technical development team for the purpose of business system requirements.
Identify and assemble business leads and subject matter experts to participate in user acceptance testing and training
Develop and communicate the UAT plan to relevant parties. The UAT plan includes, but is not limited to objectives, process, scope, and timeframe
Provide ad hoc consulting which may include analysis, reporting and recommendations for development of Quality Improvement Plans, as needed
Provide operational process insight to the application and system development teams for the purpose of business system requirements
Provides explanations and interpretations within area of expertise

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
2+ years of demonstrated process improvement, workflow, benchmarking and / or evaluation of business processes
2+ years of project management/quality management/process improvement experience
Very strong interpersonal skills, including positive assertiveness, professional communication, relationship building, and effective written and verbal communication (presentations skills)
Strong listening, facilitating and conflict management skills
Excellent problem solving, organizational, and analytical skills (critical thinking) required.
Excellent time management and priority setting skills
Intermediate level proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, basic formulas, graphing, data manipulation - column/row adjustments, formatting, presentation), Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio, Screen capturing (cropping and preparing presentations)    
Ability to produce quality work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment despite interruptions and frequent alteration in priorities for the day/week/month
Self-starter; strong track record of proactively moving organizations forward by having the foresight to 'see what is around the corner

Preferred Qualifications:


Experience with Payment Integrity pre pay policies and procedures

Experience with Payment Integrity systems and applications
Understanding of clinical and non-clinical operations
