Position Description:

responsible for medical and ancillary product premium billing. Positions
in this function interact with customers gathering support data to
ensure invoice accuracy and also work through specific billing
discrepancies. Provide input to policies, systems, methods, and
procedures for the effective management and control of the premium
billing function. Educate customers regarding the availability of
receiving invoices and remitting payments through online applications.
Monitor outstanding balances and take appropriate actions to ensure
clients pay as billed. Manage the preparation of invoices and complete
reconciliation of billing with accounts receivables. May also include
quality assurance and audit of billing activities. Note: Positions
mainly responsible for more general A/R activities which do not include
medical and ancillary premium billing activities can be found in the
Accounts Receivable function in the Finance job family.Primary Responsibilities:

Maintain payment status and billing records through corrections and adjustmentsPerform data entry Participate in special projects Consistently meet established productivity, schedule adherence, and quality standardsProactively seeks to further develop billing process competenciesAssist in implementation of process improvements Perform analysis and validation of documents and reports Maintain timely, accurate documentation for all appropriate transactions Ensure department's and customers' needs are metResolve routine & complex questions & problems, referring more complex problems to higher levelsPrior Billing or Financial experience preferredStrong Communication skills preferredExcel experience preferred

Requirements

Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED1+ years of experience in an office setting Experience with computers and Windows PC applications
(this includes the ability to learn new and complex computer system
applications)Experience with Microsoft Word (basic document creation)Experience with Microsoft Excel (basic formulas and application navigation)Soft Skills:
Ability to multi-task, this includes ability to
understand multiple products and multiple levels of benefits within each
